Public’s cooperation with the government

Last year, many people showed their aggregation towards Delhi government. People celebrated chhath puja at home on roof. It was the greatest example of prevention from corona virus.

There were only a few people are allowed on events which would be ensured by Delhi government and police officers. In these types of festivals people tend for shopping clothes, food, grocery items and gifts which affect social distancing and increase the chances of Corona. People are connected to these festivals by their religion, culture, and our customs. This is big step of Delhi government that allows people to follow their culture and religious activity while following covid 19 guidelines.

Delhi Government’s plans for health prevention

Delhi Government has clearly showed from its initiatives that citizen’s health is the topmost priority and the government will work keeping this in mind. Gym, Restaurants, school would remain closed (Official) till next updates but outside activities such as yoga and jogging are allowed. The World has seen the impact of covid 19 in first and second wave

that’s why it’s extremely important to continue these preventions till the corona cases are about to disappear. Schools are closed for children’s health. Chhath puja not only increases the chance of increasing corona cases but also the pollution level which is harmful for people’s health.

Government seeks assistance from Defence

DCP and other army officers would be ensuring the mask and social distancing among people. In these types of events, innumerous arguments and dispute are more likely to happen which would increase the chance of gathering but police officers and the army would be there to take care of such types of activities can be resisted.

There were around 20,000 cases coming on day. It was a critical time for everyone. Delhi government was unable to control the cases of covid 19. The Government is following all the major steps. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) took further action plans to take care of people’s health. At the beginning it was a bit difficult to explicate people not to make gatherings and crowd in social premises like parks and grounds. The Chief Minister of Delhi allows 50% capacity of people in park and events. All the events would be recorded and controlled by Delhi government. Sanitization and social distancing would be the major concern of DDMA.

How negligence can proliferate Covid-19

Whether the cases of covid 19 are decreasing but the negligence of people can give a boost to the number of cases. There is no proper medicine or care available at present time for the coronavirus. The festivals can be celebrated at home too in the presence of family members and our closed ones. The DDMA announced and mentioned street food stalls which can be the reason of spreading of virus. Each event would consider the crowd at a place and not to allow to stand at a place for much time. The maximum number of people in event can proliferate the chances of covid 19 as well as its effects on the transportation and other aspects of daily life.

Kejariwal’s shares his opinion and plans for festivals

Delhi government took these steps to prevent people from covid 19 till November 15 but further events and festivals can be celebrated that are also related to Indian religion and their beliefs. The chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal also shared his opinion towards covid 19. He applied lockdown. We all were at home and couldn’t celebrate or organize any event but he gave permission to celebrate in small groups. It is a great step of Delhi government which would be beneficial for people’s health. The Chhath pooja celebration has a unique recognition but sometimes we all have to live according to the situation. It would be a splendiferous opportunity for government to work on pollution problems and prevention of covid which are affected by these types of events.

Internationally appreciated initiative by People

Chhath puja is one of the most populous festivals in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. People believe directly and are connected to this festival which is celebrated by a large number of people. There are so many things included from chhath puja like verities of food, traditional attires and worship materials etc. Covid 19 guidelines are not only for a community or a cast but it’s interrelated with each of us. Last year people celebrated these sacred festivals at home with their relatives and friends which decreased the level of pollution in the nature and further spread of corona cases. This step was appreciated largely on an international level where India showed exemplary actions to be lawful with the government and loyal to their culture. The USA, Russia and many developed countries are also facing the covid 19.

They restricted school, collages, workplaces etc. Uttar Pradesh and Bihar presented a great example of it. They showed that the health is our first and topmost priority then comes any festival or any event. Delhi government has taken many steps to avoid positive cases in Delhi.
