Millions of
years ago, humans came into existence. Generally, the humans can be classified
into two categories male and female. Both of them are incomplete without each
other. They must be together if they want to continue the civilization. Women
are the goddesses with an extraordinary power to give birth to a child and are life savers with their religious
beliefs. They are 48.92% of the total population of the world. They have
innumerable responsibilities to act out for their day-to-day life as a mother,
sister, daughter, or a wife. Why is it
hard to talk about abuse against women? It is because they keep pace with
both their personal and professional life together. According to an Indian
ritual, a girl is born three times in her entire life the first when she is
born, the second when she gets married to someone and the third when she gives
birth to a child. She learns to say no when she becomes a mother.
Perhaps some
people still ponder about the weakness of women that they are physically
fragile and can't act out hard work. For their kind information, the most
intolerable pain in the world which is almost equal to the breaking of 20 bones
at once a woman feels at the time of her delivery. A normal person if he gets
this much pain, can pass away easily, but she gives life without taking care of
her own. In some areas there is still a legacy going on to take the women as a
machine for manufacturing children, it is a shameful act being a woman, they
have this type of mentality for another woman.
A girl
sacrifices a lot of things without making others realize it. Her decisions are
always taken by someone else as if she were a servant and born to carry out
other's orders till she would pass away. It starts when she is born, someone
else sets in making upcoming plans for her how she would learn household chores
and then get married. None thinks about her dreams, aspirations, or choices. From
the starting she is engaged in household chores till she is enough mature to
think about her career opportunities, she naturally accepts that work and
cannot oppose doing it, but some girls don't stop here. They are fully
determined to break this vicious circle and stand out of the crowd to answer
the primitive rituals that "The girls are like springs the more you crush,
the higher they jump." There are a lot of examples in history the women
are better and more capable than a man. If a boy can make a family proud, a
girl can make two one is her own and another her law's. She abandons her
dreams, goals, and job when she becomes a mother. It becomes her topmost
priority to take care of her child and make plans for its better life. She
wakes up at first and goes to bed at last. She makes home the whole day and
fulfills her duty for a family honestly. They face discrimination from home
between them and their brothers. Some repulsive parents don't treat their
children equally and make gender inequality. There are innumerable situations
where her rights are violated when she is deprived of the opportunities she has
created for her future, but all go in vain because if avail herself of the
chances, she is judged by several people as per their negative perspectives and
narrow mentality.
Despite having a
lot of troubles in a woman's life, I am extremely despondent to say that there
are no solutions to women's problems
because there is not a single problem that can be solved out. Several problems
occur in their life every day. She is expected to do her household
responsibilities first and then supposed to work out and contribute to family
income.
Women's struggle
can't ever be measured through any research or studies. If you really want to
do something for her, just respect each girl and give them equality, not in
writing but in reality. We live in a man-dominated society where the girls are
taught to compromise with the situation and change their way of living if
somebody comments her about anything rather than suggest boys or men to learn
how to behave well. The ongoing women's performance is appreciable either it is
in education, sports, or defense. They serve their duties proficiently for the
nation and have made the country proud on several occasions internationally.
In the earlier
time, the girls were not allowed to go to school. They are just born to serve
men only. It is their fortune to do the household chores. It was supposed to be
beyond their level because it was a myth that it is a bad omen if the girls go
to school, but in reality, men were afraid as they were somewhere aware of the
futuristic consequences. If the girls go to school, they will leave them far
back. It will be a point of immense insult for men then. There are ample
problems in a girl's life to deal with as she is supported to be the respect of
two different homes. One wherein she was born and another where she goes as a
bride after getting married. She adapts herself to a totally distinct environment
for her. She accepts another family and becomes an integral part of it. They
prepare themselves for new everyday challenges of life and find out different
ways to tackle them. Married life is never easy to start for any bride. She
tries very hard to make her space there with new relations. Her responsibilities
even double up with two families.
As we all know
that the time changes everything. The same, things are changing with time.
Women must
emancipate themselves from the slavery of a nuptial ……… if it is not based on
mutual understanding and trust. I am sure that you must have seen violence at

Every day we either read in a newspaper, watch T.V. or listen to the radio that
a girl is rapped, a woman attempted suicide against domestic violence, a lady
is fired for dowry. These might match with the headlines you come across. I
