G7 Communique for Summit 2021.

   

        ·       What is G7?

G7 is a group that comprises seven most developed countries in the world (United States (U.S.), Italy, the United kingdom (U.K.), Japan, France, Germany and Canada) that has come up as an informally international platfrom that promotes multilateral democracies. It meets annually and discusses the global issues and finds the adamant ways to get rid of them unanimously.

        ·       Why do we need G7?

You probably have this question in your mind who all will attend this prestigious meeting on internationally held summit. All the member countries along with the representatives attended it. Joe Biden, President, president (The U.S.), Boris Johnson, Prime Minister (Host) (the U.K.), Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister (Canada), Angela Merkel, Chancellor (Germany), Mario Draghi, Prime Minister as well as Chairman of G20 (Italy), Yoshihide Suga, Prime Minister (Japan) and Emmanuel Macron, President (France). The prime minister of the United Kingdom invited India’s Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi with other special invitees from Australia, South Coria, South Africa and other members of European Union.

The Formation of G7 Group

After the 2nd world war the topmost and most influential countries laid the foundation of G7 an informal organization in 1975 that meets the member countries annually to ponder about the global issue, international security, Nuclear weapons, gender equality, social development and health were the main concerns of the forum. When time changes, there are more issues to be tackled out. These countries were the United States (U.S.), Italy, the United Kingdom (U.K.), Japan, France and Germany. Currently there are seven countries in G7 including Canada. These countries have 10.73% total population of the world and contribute in the global GDP of approximately 42.86% together.

        ·       When is the G7 summit in 2021 and where is it ?

The 47th summit of G7 countries that took place in 2021 was in Cornwall in the United States. The U.S. president Joe Biden had a tempting speech about the currently situation with the unprecedented solutions. The member countries participated in the summit with their representatives between June 11 - 13 2021.

G7 summit’s Agenda in 2021

The group of G7 countries releases an agenda before the summit that they will focus on these currently serious points in the meetings which they call a communique. Like all the years, this year also they shared a communique to be discussed with the member countries and other participants.

The Corona Pandemic :- This pandemic has affected the global economy on a large scale. It was stated that some preventive steps need to be taken so that further pandemics like this may not occur in the future. The developed and developing countries decided to help the poor countries in providing them either free or on less cost so that they can also get rid of this fatal virus. India has the maximum power for the vaccine manufacturing and has assured to help selflessly which was largely appreciated.

The B3W :- the full form of B3W is Build back Better World program was also a highlighted initiative taken by the countries to have a better infrastructure for the world and not to depend on China’s only for it. Under this program in the upcoming summit, there will be more plans for the execution. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as G7 countries agree to this new plant to have an alternative infrastructural plans for the world’s democracies. Although it is not clear yet how it is going to happen. This will be run with the transparency with the world countries and provide them new business opportunities to development themselves with the time.

Global Warming :- This is one the most trending issues in the world. It states the alarmingly increasing the temperature which melts the glaciers rapidly and increases the sea level. If this continues, many cities in the world would lose their existence permanently. The gases that play in incredible role in increasing the temperature are Methane, Carbon dioxide, Parean Nitrous oxide and Sulphur hexafluoride are the most common. This burgeons the natural disasters like Flooding, worsening draughts, Tornados, Storms and Famines.

National Security:- This is the most important for the mankind as safety is the most essential part of any country. To save humans and animals from the terrorist attacks and find out their spots to succumb them. Each country has her own army to protect them but to kill the global enemy we have to come together hence the countries go to act out the military operation with the latest weapons.
